Pre-ordered S1000RR’s Coming In
Four of the eleven pre-ordered S1000RR bikes arrived today, January 28. It was the first any of us had seen the other colors in person. Very nice. But if one of these bikes is yours, hold your horses. Batteries have to be charged, bikes checked out, etc.
Gateway BMW in the News
The January issue of Full Throttle magazine features Gateway BMW on page 68. Page 69 is a full-page ad for the shop. The article, with pictures, is titled “Hang’n With Honz & Krew” and is written by Peter Schneider. Copies of the magazine are available at the shop.
1991 R100GS NOW SOLD! ITS Going back home to Ohio.
This 1991 R100GS is very clean, and it’s got only 33,000 miles on it. Service has just done a major service on it, and it has a Euro light switch, heated grips, new tires and BMW bags.

Jesse James Bike has Gone Back to California
The bike has been sold to a gentleman in California. Yep, it’s going right back to the state that Honz got it from last Thanksgiving. The new owner flew to St. Louis to ride the bike home to California.

Just In! BMW Demo Fleet Bikes Priced to Sell
Honz just got these five 2008 R1200GS demo fleet bikes in. He’s got three 2009 GSs and a GT on the way. Because they were demo bikes they’ve got some minor bumps and scrapes, but all of them have new tires. Mileage on the bikes ranges from 500 to 4,000 miles.

Check this out. It was listed on Adv Rider and Honz says he’s made a deal on it. It has to stay in California through the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show the first weekend in December, but it should be in St. Louis for Gateway’s holiday open house on December 12.
