July 10th, 2008 kevin

Meet at the shop this Saturday 7/12/08 at 4:00 and head South with the gang to the Honz Dude Ranch in Rogue Creek. His place is just outside of Potosi. Honz will have coolers with ice there. Gather your gear and your favorite beverage for an evening of crate burning and beer drinking. Yeehaa! Then on Sunday, explore the many gravel roads in and around the area.

Suprise Ride! 7/20/08

July 3rd, 2008 kevin

We don’t know who’ll lead this one or where it’s going for sure, but it will happen.

I say we all meet at the shop at 8:00 Then we can head Northwesterly towards Clarksville or Louisiana. Maybe check out what the flood waters did.

Let’s call this one a ’street ride’.

Fathers Day Ride! June 15

April 24th, 2008 kevin

On June 15 we’re going on a dual-sport ride! Everyone knows it’s what all dads want. Caution! Kevin’s leading this one… You have been warned. Here are some details…

The meeting place will be the QT in Eureka on the corner of 4th Street and W. Exit 264 off of I-44 @ 8:AM We’ll head westward @ 8:30ish.

For folks coming from the North we will also stop at the gas station at the corner of YY & A. That’s between Washington and Union. Then the gravel riding begins.

Our lunch destination is in Fredricksburg. Bring a couple dollars for the ferry because after lunch we’re going to cross it as we make our way home via more gravel.

FYI The loop from Eureka back to 6 Flags will be around 190 miles. This won’t be a difficult ride as there won’t be any creek crossings (sorry) but a fun one just the same.

If anyone wants to lead a street ride with the same destination I have a really fun street route I’ll share with you. If interested, let me know.

PS

Remember. We will be organizing a shop ride every third Sunday of each month. Check here for updates. Meet up for each ride at 8:00. The adventures begin at 8:30ish.

Success! It was a great day of riding!
